MycareerplanTalkingaboutcareer,I'vebeenplanningsincemyfirstyearintheuniversity.Therightcareerchoiceornot,isdirectlyrelatedtotheircareersuccessorfailure.Accordingtostatistics,the80%ofthepeoplewhohavechosenthewrongcareer,arelosersintheircareers.Thisshowshowimportantitistomakearightchoiceaboutyourcareer.Howtochoosetherightcareer?Atleastweshouldconsiderthefollowingpoints:(1personalityandcareermatching.(2interestinthematchandvocational.(3careermatchingexpertise.(4internalandexternalenvironmenttotheoccupation.IalwaysknewthatIwantedtoapplyforenglish-relatedjobs.AspartofmycareerplanningImadeastrictscheduleformyselftokeepto.Inmyfirstyearinuniversity,Iextendedmyvocabularyandlearnedgrammarveryhard.IknewthatIshouldhaveathoroughgroundinginenglishifIwantedtouseitfluentlyinthefuture,especiallyifIwantedtotranslatefreely.Ingradetwo,whatI’mmostlyconcernedaboutisTEM4.AndkeepingenlargingmyvocabularyisthemostimportantthingIshoulddo.IknewthatIshouldgainmorecertificates,soastowinintheexceedinglycompetitivejobmarket.Moreover,CET6andBECprimarytestarenecessary.Nowcometogradethree,IbegintosendmyCVtoforeign-ownedcompaniesforinternship.IclearlyknowthatitistoolateifIsendCVtoapplyforjobswhengraduationisclose-at-hand.Ingradefour,IwillgetmyselfpreparedfortheTEM8andbeginhuntingforjobs.IfthecompanywhereIhavetheinternshipiscontentwithme,Iwouldstaythereaftergraduatingfromtheuniversity.Ifnot,IwouldsendCVstoothercompanies.
Afterearningenoughmoneyandacquiringenoughexperience,Iwouldchangemycareerintoanenglishteacher.BeingateacherIwouldhavemoresparetimeatmydisposal.WithmygoodmasteringofenglishIthinkIamqualifiedforanenglishteacher.Asfortheteachingskills,Iwouldcertainlyattendsomegoodteachers'classestolearnfromthem.Iwouldalsocommunicatewiththestudentstogettoknowwhattheyarethinkingandwhattheyreallyneed.Duringtheyearsasateacher,Iwouldteachthestudentsmyownwayofenglishlearning,showtheoutsideworldtothem,andintroducenewideastothem,soastobroadentheirhorizons.That’sonlyabriefpalnofmycareer.AndIwillsparenoefforttofullfillit.
